5 Important Reconstructive Surgeries and Procedures Carried Out By Cosmetic Surgeons

My cousin delivered a healthy baby boy last year. But she was disappointed to see that her bonny baby boy had a congenital defect – a cleft lip. This is a birth defect affecting the lip, which splits or separates the two sides of the upper lip appearing as a narrow opening or gap in the upper lip's skin. It can also affect the base of the nose and the upper gum or the upper jaw of the baby. Her feeling of joy and elation around the birth of her bundle of joy was marred with the vibes of pity from her relatives. She and her husband were really disappointed to know that the gynaecologist had failed to spot this oral malformation in the early stages of the pregnancy. They learned much later that the cause of such a defect is unknown and one couldn't really do much to prevent it. It distressed the newborn's parents to see their child having trouble breastfeeding. Fearing that their child may feel lonely, left out and turn into a victim of constant ridicule while growing up, they consulted various paediatricians for a solution. The only solution that seemed to solve the issue was reconstructive surgery. They consulted one of the best cosmetic surgeon doctors in Chennai who counselled them about the surgical procedure, its outcome and the palliative aftercare required.
On the day of their son's first grand birthday bash, their smiles and the twinkle in their eyes said it all. Needless to say, the reconstructive surgery on the cleft lip was successful and their son had regained his disarming smile. It was then that I realised the significance of reconstructive surgery. It busted my preconceived notion that cosmetic surgeons and plastic surgeons were only in the practice of improving how an individual looks and to enhance celebrities' vanity. Breast enlargement procedures and nose jobs had clouded my thinking and had lead to wrong assumptions about cosmetic surgery.

It was heartening to see this particular branch of doctors do an amazing job in correcting the defects in the young as well as the old and help them in leading a normal life. Health experts are of the opinion, that patients, especially children with a birth defect if left untreated may never fully develop physically, and at times, mentally. An untreated birth defect also affects their social skills where they are limited to a sense of 'being different'. They may also be subjected to the hard stares from strangers and harsh judgment of other children.

Besides repairing oral malformations like cleft lips, plastic and cosmetic surgeons specialising in reconstructive surgery are known to perform a number of procedures to improve the condition of injuries, birth defects or disfigurement issues. I came to know about the other types of reconstructive surgeries that cosmetic/ plastic surgeons are known to perform:
  1. Facial SurgeriesThe most common type of facial reconstruction surgeries is for repairing congenital defects like the cleft lip and cleft palate. The surgeries usually have a lower risk and are minimal as the sessions are spread out over multiple weeks or months. You can consult cosmetic surgeons to correct facial defects arising out of accidents and injuries, chronic infections affecting the sinuses, and breathing issues like snoring.
  2. Breast Reconstruction or ReductionWomen who have undergone mastectomy (surgical removal of the breast tissues) are the usual candidates for breast reconstruction surgery. Breast reduction surgery is recommended for women who have abnormally large breasts that are leading to chronic back and spine problems or other related health issues. Unknown to many, men having the condition of extreme gynaecomastia are also known to undergo breast reduction surgery.
  3. Microsurgery or Flap ProceduresThese surgeries are usually performed on patients affected by injuries or diseases, which warrants the replacement of body parts.
  4. Wound Care
Patients with severe burns or cuts can undergo reconstructive surgeries and techniques like skin grafting.

  5. Surgeries for Feet and Hands
Those having extra fingers or toes or webbed fingers and toes can undergo surgeries to correct these congenital defects. It is common for individuals suffering from tumours, whether benign or malignant, to consult cosmetic surgeons for reconstructive surgeries.

Before undergoing any medical treatment or surgery, it is important that you consult any of the top cosmetic surgeons Chennai has. The surgeons will evaluate the course of action on a case-to-case basis. More often than not, they will understand the patient's medical history in great detail and evaluate the case on the basis of the results desired and the medical necessity. It is only after weighing all the options that a skilled surgeon decides which one suits the patients the most. You also need to know, no matter what the problem may be in your seemingly imperfect life, there is always a solution out there.

5 Common Myths About Cosmetic Surgeries That Need To Be Busted

Cosmetic Surgeon Doctors

Like many other naive people, I had negative assumptions around the subject of cosmetic surgery. I think it was probably the whole concept of dramatically changing the way one looks that was causing me to generate negative bias towards cosmetic medicine. You should be happy with the way you look, was a principle I lived by and was content with. Of course, when I was in my teens, like other teenage girls, what would I have given to get rid of that extra belly fat and chubby buttocks to look ultra-glamorous in a two-piece swimsuit! I know and have seen many women (and some men) who haven't even blinked an eye when undergoing complex cosmetic augmentation or reduction surgeries. However, the whole idea of going under the knife just to look better was something I couldn't personally digest. Until recently. Recently, one of my best friends lost oodles of weight – 30 kgs to be precise – in a span of nearly fourteen months. This massive weight loss through a strict regimen of diet and exercise did wonders for her health status, which had taken a beating earlier. On one hand, she was glowing and full of energy, on the other hand, she confided in me that the loose skin that she had developed was something she found to be really embarrassing. The loose skin on her body dashed her hopes of showing off her newly sculpted mid-riff, thighs and arms by wearing crop tops, bikinis and short skirts on her upcoming honeymoon. As her dear friend, I tried my best to convince her and reason with her to wait for some time, but my efforts were in vain. Given that her wedding was on the cards in little less than eight months, she was left with no option but to consult one of the best Cosmetic Surgeon Doctors Bangalore has.

For her, living with the end result of a slim figure and showing off her perfectly toned body held precedence over the fear of going under a knife. But after her consultation with one of the top cosmetic surgeons in the city, she was confident the body contouring procedure would do wonders for her body. Intrigued by her decision of undergoing her first ever operative procedure, I tagged along to her consultations. Through the multiple consultations she had, I came to know quite a few things about cosmetic surgery. More importantly, it has busted a lot of myths and misconceptions that I had about cosmetic procedures. For the benefit of many like me who are harbouring a lot of misconceptions about this medical field, I have compiled a list of 5 common myths and misconceptions that need to be busted.

  1. It is only women who undergo various cosmetic surgery procedures
Of late, a number of men are also undergoing surgical procedures to enhance their aesthetic appeal. Procedures like hair transplant or hair restoration, laser hair removal, and liposuction are some of the popular ones.
  2. For any cosmetic surgery procedure, the recovery process is long and painful
Like after any surgery, it takes time for the body to heal and return back to normalcy. And this duration varies on a case to case basis, depending on the type and complexity of the procedure. The advancement in medical and surgical technologies now allows a quicker recovery for patients.
  3. Injecting Botox will leave you with an expressionless face
When Botox is injected in small doses into specific facial muscles, it can effortlessly soften the undesirable lines and wrinkles whilst maintaining the integrity of one's facial expressions. Although this compound comes from a toxin found in a type of bacteria, it has been approved by most health authorities, including the FDA and is regarded to be extremely safe for use. It is of utmost importance that Botox should be injected by a trained and experienced physician.
  4. Your chance of developing breast cancer increases after breast implants
Studies have suggested that breast implants do not cause breast cancer and don't result in the recurrence of breast cancer. However, this does not mean you can rule out routine and regular breast examinations (self or clinical) or mammograms, whether you have natural breasts or artificial ones.
  5. After liposuction, the fat comes back
This is not true. The process of liposuction removes the fat cells from a particular area of the body. Once removed, they are gone forever. However, it is important for the patient to maintain their weight post the procedure to prevent the remaining fat cells from growing in size.

If the above points were an eye-opener for you, like me, you too can change the preconceived notion associated with cosmetic surgeries. I am glad I spoke to one amongst the top Cosmetic Surgeon Doctors in Bangalore, post which I have developed a more receptive behaviour towards people who undergo these aesthetic procedures. It is, after all, a personal choice.

There are people with many Hobbies like collecting coins, stamps and revenues, collecting old coins, collecting good clothes and many more. I have all such hobbies but my most favourite hobby will always be Gardening. According to me Gardening is the best way to relax one's mind. Whenever i feel stressed i go for this hobby.

I have very small farm house at my native place and i visit their on a monthly basis. I have planted many plants at my farm house. There are seeds for flowers, plants and vegetables. I also try to cut the grass in a special manner and give them a shape. I have got this quality from my parents who also love to do some or the other work for gardening.

I like Flowers, plants, vegetables to grow in my garden. There are plants such as Apricot, Apple, banana, garlic and many more. There are flowers like, red roses, sunflower, jui, chui-mui, orchid, lotus, marigold and many more. Vegetables like potatoes, tomato, carrots, capsicum, lettuce, onions, beets and cabbage. Fruits like Apple, Grapes, Pears, strawberries, banana, etc.

Many people think i have a big house and a good farm but the thing is that the farm is for my hobby as i do not sell any of my vegetables or plants to anyone but maintain it for myself. I have seen people who buy plants online as well as buy flowers online they do contact me for the plants but as said earlier i do not sell them. This is all what i have to say about the farming and my hobby.

Abroad How to improve your employability technical job market

Abroad How to improve your employ ability studying abroad for a semester or two switching time and living in the host country's technology Abroad job consultants market has many advantages. Exchange students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures education systems often encounter students from around the world. In addition to be able to experience another culture with international experience for students you can give your resume in today's competitive abroad job consultants in chennai market competitive advantage.
So I spent some time studying abroad students can improve in three areas: academic culture and professional experience. This particularly applies to specific abroad job consultancy in chennai sectors such as tourism and technology job market. Below are studying for your future career technical list of overseas job consultants in chennai market you can get useful experience.
Why study abroad help your career in the high tech industry
Product components or manufacturing engineers in different countries of the Western developed countries 10% less wages suppliers from multinational companies.
Such as the German car manufacturer Volkswagen pcs 15 production plants in Europe Asia the Americas and spread across five continents and Africa more than 50. In fact highly populated low-income countries such as India and China are capable of producing more cost-effective. Since these countries have a large number of scientific and engineering experts in Western countries they have a clear competitive advantage. Therefore engineering and manufacturing are subject to cross-border cooperation enabling engineers and scientists to work together in different countries boarding.
More and more engineers in the global economy needs foreign language skills no doubt is possible in their career from their country of birth work some time. According to professional recruiters Eurostaff students should grasp the opportunity to get cross-cultural experience that will help them to prepare themselves in different cultural and economic work of the working environment or from other continents and the future work of partnerships:
"Always in the changing landscape of digital and technical sense it is more than ever to make it easier for enterprises to open the 'local' to 'international' logistical obstacles to a certain extent with the destruction of the advances in technology employing the most talented and suitable for people to carry the strategy is still the key. "International" company has to increase the number of individuals who have a wide range of cultural experiences and language proficiency requirements. competition for abroad jobs consultants is likely to be at all time high so differentiate yourself is the key if you looking for language skills and the ability to demonstrate capability in different countries will really stand you from your peers in the technology industry work (Eurostaff Group Limited 21 August 2013)."

The next step may be to obtain cross-cultural experiences for students to build an international network of contacts and can learn a foreign language both of which will help in the future to develop the international job opportunities. Should be used to practice the ideal semester abroad to learn how different structures in the country and work attitudes. As an intern in international organizations they may be able to obtain knowledge of global business issues and practices. Fortunately this exchange semester many colleges and universities across the country are expected in the project - a great opportunity for students to prepare for the global market needs and requirements.
